Drawing inspiration from the ideals of 17th-century English scholar John Milton, our Foundation strengthens the pillars of democracy by providing financial assistance to independent journalists.   • Direct Donations to Journalists: Empower our fellows directly by donating to them. They receive 90% of the funds allocated in their name.
  • General Donations to the Foundation: Your general contributions aid in offering legal defense for our fellows, supporting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and related legal actions, and covering other essential expenses of the Foundation.
